Student Leadership

Developing leadership, contributing to school spirit and impacting the community.

The Glacier Hills Student Leadership is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. Comprised of girls and boys in fourth and fifth grade, each classroom has two representatives. Student Leadership Representatives are elected at the beginning of each school year. Their role is to be a leader in the school and community, promote school pride, and serve the school and community through service projects and outreach. Some of the service projects planned for the school year are Feed My Starving Children, Pennies for Patients, Open Door Food Pantry and to reach out to elderly in nearby nursing homes. Student Leadership Representatives and their families will also help to run the school store. Student council will also plan and promote school spirit by having a spirit “fun” day each month. Check the school calendar for spirit day events.
